Purpose

To maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients and staff, our salon operates a strict no-animals policy.

Policy Statement

Animals are not permitted inside the salon at any time.

Exceptions

The only exception to this policy is for registered assistance animals, such as:

* Guide dogs for the visually impaired
* Hearing dogs for the deaf or hard of hearing
* Other certified service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities

All assistance animals must:

* Remain under control at all times
* Be well-behaved and non-disruptive
* Stay on the floor (not on salon furniture or equipment)

Rationale

This policy is in place to:

* Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards
* Prevent allergic reactions among clients and staff
* Ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors
* Comply with health and safety regulations

Client Responsibility

Clients are kindly asked to:

* Make alternative arrangements for pets before their appointment
* Inform staff in advance if attending with an assistance animal

Enforcement

* Staff reserve the right to refuse entry to any animal that does not meet the exception criteria
* If an assistance animal behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner, clients may be asked to remove the animal from the premises
